As a mum of a daughter who dreams of becoming a marine biologist, I can't say enough wonderful things about this book. The moment she opened it, she was completely captivated — pointing out creatures she recognized and laughing at all the clever job titles. The watercolour artwork is so detailed we linger on each page, and there are so many hidden details we keep finding new things. Educational without ever feeling like a lesson.

A delightful and imaginative way to introduce children to the wonders of the ocean! Each sea creature is given a creative “job” that makes learning about marine life fun and memorable. The writing strikes the perfect balance between humour, storytelling, and real science — educational without ever feeling like a textbook. Children will want to read it again and again while adults discover new facts alongside them.

Very informational and the drawings were exceptional! I'm a second grade teacher and I look forward to owning a hard copy. My students learn things easier when they can relate information to real-life situations, which this book does perfectly. I can already hear the oohs and ahhs — and the giggles, because many of the pictures are hilarious.

A lot of information is included! I can see kids who enjoy being outdoors and kids who enjoy “creepy crawlies” really enjoying this book.

Illustrations are phenomenal! The way information is presented allows tiny humans to make real-world connections and understand the similarities of life in the sea and on land. Modifications for younger learners can be made, and it provides a path for extensions for older learners.

This book is great! The pictures are cute, cartoonish and colourful, and there's so much information. It keeps kids engaged and gives a lot of information that young kids can actually understand.

Creatively done. Well organised, easy to read. There are silly pictures to find on each page — like an anemone wearing a bowtie — alongside plenty of real facts. A good book to keep curious kids busy and learning.

This book was a nice way to look at and learn about the different creatures of the ocean. It taught about the jobs each one has in the ocean's environment, which was really cool. Awesome pictures for the littles to look at!
